Starting on a friday, I felt my toncils starting to
ache. The next day, they were the size of golfballs,
and had a 2cm layer of puss pockets formed around
them. I, being the anti-hospital asshole I am,
decided to ride it out. After 4 days in bed, I
finally went to the hospital that following monday.
There, I was diagnosed with Mono, toncilitis, and
strep, with multiple lymph node infections. For 2
weeks, I spit up nothing but phlem and blood. They
put me on heavy, heavy anti-biotics and pain killers
(amocicillin, and percocet). It was utter hell. I'm
not sure what other submissions you got in, but I was
in some serious pain.
