I was 16 at the time. It was a nice hot summer day when I decided to take Dad's favorite car (Buick LeSabre) to my highschool for a car wash. Some sort of lame fund raiser....anyway, I was waitng for a break in the traffic to make my turn in to the school lot when I heard a loud noise....it was my neck!!
Apparently there was a football game that was letting out. At the other end of the lot a piece of shit Rabbit or something that came flying out on to the same road I was waiting to make my turn. Inside the car was one of the biggest assholes in my school and his girlfriend in the passenger seat. When he made his high speed turn on to the road he felt compelled to give someone the finger while flooring it. Needless to say he wasn't looking at the road when he plowed into me.
It was at that point that his girlfriends head went through the windshield. The impact sent my (Dad's) car into the other lane, at which point I got nailed in the front of the car. I saw that car go flying over the curb and all the tires blew out. That man's shoulder was seperated at that point.
Now. I'm just trying to figure out the loud noise in my neck.......x-rays showed that that my vertabrae had gotten shifted all out of whack. Soooooo for the next few months I was the proud owner of a new metal neckbrace. I wasn't lucky enough to get one of those cool ones that get screwed righ into your skull. Oh well!
Over the course of those 3 months I was lucky enough however to develop a serious case of MONO! Mono came with some benfits though.....1 I didn't have to go to school for 6 weeks. I got home schooling. 2 .........OK there really aren't alot of benfits to mono. Somehow I managed to survive.
Oh. as far as the dick that hit me in the car......nothing but a scratch on his knee! What a prick!
